2008-03-07
Boston Herald

10. Obama has trouble giving speeches with knives in his back.

9. Combined slogan would be “Change we can believe in because it’s change, did I mention change?”

8. Bill would keep asking why Obama GirlÂ’s not on White House staff.

7. Would mean endless radio play of smarmy Paul McCartney/Stevie Wonder ditty “Ebony and Ivory.”

6. At Cleveland debate, Hillary only offered Obama “pillow” when he actually wanted La-Z-Boy recliner.

5. Oprah says thereÂ’s only room for one woman with a single name.

4. Americans canÂ’t decide which middle name they find more objectionable - Hussein or Rodham.

3. His good looks, her brains - together they make Mitt Romney.

2. Media canÂ’t decide who to suck up to more.

1. One word: Obamary

#5  mebbe so, but won't be really happy til I see Ashura-like bloodletting on anarchist and dipshit heads in Denver. Reality has an impact point, and Ima hoping a lotta trust-fund assholes and wanna-be dirtbags find subdural hematoma and increased cranial-fluid nirvana

#4  It looks to me like the Democratic party may be having a phoenix moment. That's when they spontaneously burst into flames and are totally destroyed. Then, out of the ashes comes a new bird, er, turkey. It happened to the Whigs in the 1850's. The issue was slavery and the Whigs were finished. Some in the party migrated to the Democrats, many others reformed with others into a party opposed to slavery. They won their first national election in 1860 with an ugly backwoods lawyer from Illinois who was blessed with a thin, reedy voice. Abe Lincoln became the first Republican president and changed our nation forever. The Democrats are locked into an intense struggle not just with the Republicans, but between major factions within their own party. Neither Obama nor Clinton can afford to step down. To blink now would mean political death. I feel strongly that we are witnessing a major death in the Democratic party. Will they, phoenix-like rise out of the ashes to a new identity? Or will they simply reduce themselves to ashes? Time will tell.

#2  These two ass clowns are beginning to make Al Gore appear presidential.

I'm beginning to think that this was intentional to bring Gore back into the race.
