| Three insurgents killed in encounters with Indian Army in countrys NE |

| (KUNA) -- As many as three insurgents were killed in separate encounters with security forces in Indias Northeastern state of Assam Saturday. In North Lakhimpur district of Assam, two insurgents were killed in an encounter with Indian Army personnel, news agency Press Trust of India reported, quoting a source in Defence Ministry. In a separate encounter in Assams Karbi Anglong district, another insurgent was killed, the source said. A .32 bore revolver and five cartridges, a hand grenade and a mobile were recovered from the slain insurgent. |
