2008-03-18 |
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), said on Monday that committees that were already working on the issue would decide his partyÂ’s share in the cabinet. Talking to reporters at Parliament House after taking oath as a newly elected member of the National Assembly, Fazl said his party had discussed their share in the cabinet with the Pakistan PeopleÂ’s Party (PPP). He said the party had formed a committee that was working for the desired results. Fazl said the JUI-F had joined hands with the PPP and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to strengthen democracy in the country, adding that the coalition was unanimous in taking steps to safeguard the sovereignty and integrity of the country. He said the nomination of the prime minister was an internal matter of the PPP, reported APP. |
