| Hoti hopes Taliban will reciprocate peace efforts |

| NWFP chief minister hopeful Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said on Thursday that he hoped the local Taliban would respond positively to his peace efforts in the province. Talking to various political delegations from Malakand, Swabi and Mardan at his residence, he said the Awami National Party (ANP) believed in peace and would resolve all problems through peaceful means. He discussed with the delegations the law and order in their areas, and assured them that their problems would be resolved. |
