| 13 soldiers hurt, 2 moderately, as Hamas attacks Kerem Shalom |

| Two IDF soldiers were moderately wounded and 11 others were lightly wounded Saturday morning at the Kerem Shalom crossing in the southern Gaza Strip, when Hamas gunmen initiated a coordinated attack on the Israeli side of the crossing, which included heavy gunfire, mortar shell barrages and two car bombs. |

| #1 Seems like Hamas is seriously itching for an asskicking. I suspect the paleos have mined every other square foot of nearby territory with their fresh explosives via Egypt. Hope Olmert has enough sense to use only air assets and artillery. I suspect the days of infantry operating in Gaza with impunity are over... hope the Israeli leadership doesn't waste too many of their own people's lives. |
