| Two militants arrested in Pulwama |

| Two militants were arrested by the security forces in separate incidents in Pulwama district on Thursday. Bilal Ahmad Chopan of Jaish-e-Mohammad was arrested by a joint search team of police, the CRPF and Rashtriya Rifles at Panzoo village in Tral area of the district, a police spokesman said. The arrest of Chopan of Ganishpora village in Pahalgam comes barely six days after the security forces gunned down six hardcore militants of the outfit in the Tral belt. Three hand-grenades and an AK magazine with six rounds of ammunition were recovered from him, the spokesman said. |
