Four soldiers were wounded in a bombing in the southernmost province of Pattani, one of three Muslim majority Thai provinces bordering Malaysia. The remote-controlled bomb was detonated when four soldiers were patrolling a section of road in Khok Pho district. The soldiers suffered from shrapnel wounds in their faces and bodies. They were sent to hospital and are in stable condition now. Police and military response units are tracking the attackers. |
