| (VOI) – A joint force on Wednesday arrested two suspects and seized a large amount of arms during a raid in northwestern Diwaniya, an Iraqi army source said. "The force found a large number of small and medium arms during the raid," the source, who requested anonymity, told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI). Meanwhile, an eyewitness told VOI that joint Iraq-Polish forces sealed off al-Mahnawiya area for several hours on Wednesday morning with aircraft circling the area during the operation. Polish troops working within the Multi-National Force (MNF) in Iraq are stationed in the Echo Base in western Diwaniya. |
