Thai insurgents attack passenger train, killing 4 crew |

(Xinhua) -- Thai insurgents on Saturday evening launched gun attack on a train bounding from southern Yala province to Narathiwat province, killing four railway workers, local Traffic Radio FM 100 reported. According to the radio report, a total of six insurgents were taking the train broke into the crew bogie of a Passenger Train 454 when it was passing Ragae district of Narathiwat. They shot at the trainmen, killing four of them and severely injuring another. |

#3 RJ, it's not that they want train services per se to stop, but that they want to cut off the three southern provinces completely from Thailand. Thailand gained those three provinces about a hundred years ago, and certain groups in Malaysia want them back. The funding comes from Iran, the weapons and ideas come from Malaysia. |
