| Bomb blast rocks Taj Cinema in Mardan |

| A bomb planted by unidentified militants near the outer wall of the Taj Cinema in Mardan exploded on Sunday, the Hoti police station SHO said, adding however that no casualty has been reported. "The remote-controlled bomb, hidden in a ghee-tin, went off minutes after the end of a show at the Taj Cinema," SHO Shaukat Khan said. Khan said six to eight kilogrammes of explosive material were used in the bomb. The outer wall of the cinema was badly damaged. Senior police officers rushed to the site, cordoned off the area, and have started an investigation. |
