A 21-year-old Antrim woman is recovering after being struck by lightning Wednesday night. The bolt hit her feet and came out through her nose ring. |

#3 Considering other locations that rings have been reportedly placed, she might consider herself fortunate. Yesterday's Bra-bat comes to mind.... |

#2 Was she standing on her head when it hit her? That violates every law of physics that I know of that relates to electricity. Weird. The odds of being struck by lightning in a given year are one in 500,000, according to WBZ meteorologist Mish Michaels. But over a lifetime, they're one in 5,000. Is this guy saying that 600 people a year get struck by lighning?!? That seems like alot. Is that in the US? or Worldwide? |
