| Villager critically wounded in southern Thailand |

| Violence in the deep South continues as suspected insurgents shot a villager when he was riding a motorcycle back home Saturday. The Buddhist man, was shot and critically injured in the southern province of Yala. He was rushed to Yala Central Hospital. Ceasefire, day two. |
