| Eight PKK rebels killed in clash in SE Turkey |

| (Xinhua) -- Eight rebels of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in the clash with the Turkish security forces in southeastern Turkey, a Turkish military statement said on Sunday. The clash occurred between the PKK militants and the security forces in Beytussebap town of Sirnak province, said the statement issued by Turkey's General Staff. Five village guards were also killed and five others wounded in the clash, according to an earlier statement of the General Staff. The Turkish army also said a terrorist was captured in Yuksekova town of southeastern province of Hakkari. |
