Obama just an empty suit without teleprompter- The Obamessiah has no clothes
2008-08-04
Telepromter goes out and you hear:

"Shimmy, shimmy cocoa pop! Shimmy, shimmy rock! Shimmy, shimmy cocoa pop! Shimmy, shimmy rock!

I met a girlfriend a triscuit! She said, a triscuit a biscuit! Ice cream, soda pop, vanilla on the top! Ooh,

#6  Fooey on Candidate Obama's original proposition. The biggest thing in medicine here in Cincinnati is walk-in emergency care clinics. They handle everything from sniffles to broken bones -- everything, in fact, except real emergencies. Exactly the kind of thing those without regular medical care should be using. I'm quite sure his friends at the U of Chicago medical school can put him in touch with people who are doing that kind of thing in his area.

OldSpook, think back to the Superman and Spider Man comics of your youth. When exactly did the press disinterestedly present the entire truth of the matter rather than shade (or worse -- remember yellow journalism?) for pecuniary or political advantage?

OS, you're writing it. Problem is, in a democracy you get the government you deserve, and too many Americans 'deserve' Obama.

#2  Love how he throws audience members under the bus to cover his ineptitude.

He got heckled in Florida (I think) and fared equally bad in his response.

#1  This is what the press has been actively hiding and glossing over for so long.

The press has failed to do its job in a democracy - informing the people of ALL the facts, not spinning them and ignoring them and trying to create a particular political outcome.

The question is, where is the check and balance for a rampantly partisan press?
