| URUMQI, China - A U.S. group that monitors extremist Web sites says that a Chinese Islamic group has posted a new video that shows a burning Olympics logo and an explosion over a venue for the Beijing Games. The video, reported Thursday by the IntelCenter, follows the posting of a similar video dated July 23. Both are attributed to the Turkistan Islamic Party, which experts say is an offshoot of a secessionist group from China's Central Asian frontier with ties to al-Qaida. IntelCenter said the latest video was dated Aug. 1 and features "graphics showing a burning Olympics logo and an explosion imposed over one of the venues." Comments on the video were in the language of the Uighurs, a Muslim minority in western China with a long history of tense relations with the central government. No translation was immediately available. |

Could be fun to watch the Chicoms use the human wave approach to flushing OBL into our open arms. For all of our ignorance of the motives and aims of the Islamofascists, you have to admit the AQ guys have no clue about how their jihad plays out when you piss off a major world power with man power and ammunition to burn. |

| #7 Somehow I doubt waterboarding will be a problem when /if they are captured and I also doubt the world will care. Good luck Uigurs because the stupid need all the luck they can get. Having said that I wouldn't put it past the Chinese to fake this sort of thing to help rationalize heavy duty security measures. |

| #4 TIP has a long history of being slapped silly by the Chinese government. They have little power outside Xinjiang (which, in Chinese geography, is the equivalent of "outer nowheresville"). |
