| Yemen probes reports of piracy |

| Yemen has launched a probe into reports on an unidentified yacht that may have fallen into the hands of pirates in the Gulf of Aden. The coastguard began searching for the boat on Friday night after receiving reports that pirates may have taken over the yacht in the Gulf of Aden, between Yemen and Somalia, the interior ministry said on Saturday. The report did not specify the nationality of the yacht nor say how many people were aboard the boat. Last year pirates attacked more than 25 ships in the waters off Somalia. |
