No Class #2: "Congratulations, you underqualified breeder!" |
2008-08-30 |
Obama Distances Self From Campaign Spox Attack on Palin Jake Tapper, "Political Punch" @ ABC August 29, 2008 4:41 PM Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., was just now asked about the conflicting statements from his campaign on Sen. John McCain's, R-Ariz., pick of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate -- first, an attack by a spokesman, then a congratulatory statement by Obama and running mate Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del. "I think that, you know, campaigns start getting these hair triggers," Obama said at Pennsylvania Biodiesel Inc. in Monaca, Pa. "The statement that Joe and I put out reflects our sentiments." |

#8 I just spent a couple hours in the PUMA sites. There's a wide range of responses and not all of them by any means will vote for McCain/Palin. I'll be happy if they just don't vote for Obama/Biden.  That's step 1. If M/P can get votes and money from them, even better. The one thing we'd better not do is leave the impression their votes are taken for granted on the right. |

#7 I don't know. I followed this PUMA site because they were dumping all the dirt on Obama and they really believed that they could get the superdelegates over to her side. texas darlin They were/are VERY pro-Hillary TD lays out the case and it sounds to me like Obama may have a bit of a problem on his hands. |

#6 Actually, Blondie, I just went over to Taylor Marsh. She seems to be dutifully trying to fix the copier at Obama's request. In short, nothing PUMA-like, just the same old BS. Can't blame her for trying, but it kinda makes her look insincere about all the things she said in the runup to Hillary losing the nomination. |

#5 What makes this even more hilarious are all the libtards that are now claiming that Obama got plenty of executive experience by running his campaign. Surely 'a foreign policy team of 300' has to count for something on a resume... |

#4 Hey Blondie! I haven't gone over to Taylor Marsh's in a while. Is she saying anything interesting or just toeing the party line? |

#3 What makes this even more hilarious are all the libtards that are now claiming that Obama got plenty of executive experience by running his campaign. (Actually I thought that credit went to Axelrod) So, will O'bwank step up and take responsibility for all the things said by his campaign, or, will he now throw the bus under the bus? |

#2 "The statement that Joe and I put out reflects our sentiments." These are not the sentiments you are looking for. /waves hand |

#1 Well, you know, it wasn't Obama who said those things. Oh, nope, no how, no way. Heavens, no. It was the icky subordinates who just got a little, you know, carried away by all the excitement over Obama's acceptance speech. Yep, that's it! I mean, Obama loves women! Why, he was birthed by one! (Just ignore all those PUMA sites that are so freakin' happy about Palin. All the Democrats adore Obama, just like all the baby duckies, kittens and puppies do.....) |
