| Unidentified militants snatched rifles from khasadar (tribal police) personnel, sources said on Friday. The incident took place early morning near a bazaar on the Pak-Afghan highway. Gunmen raided the khasadars' bunker near the Michini checkpost and seized two Kalashnikov rifles from the officials. The khasadars were identified as Shafiullah, Ayub and Arman Shinwari, and were later moved to the Landi Kotal prison. Meanwhile, a rocket hit the Khasadar checkpost at Ziarai Khyber on the Pak-Afghan highway, but caused no injuries. |
