One more found guilty in Australian terror trial |
2008-09-16 |
ANOTHER man has been found guilty of being part of a Melbourne terrorist cell which plotted to kill thousands. Amer Haddara, 28, of Yarraville, was today found guilty of being a member of a terrorist organisation, knowing it was a terrorist organisation. But he was found not guilty of possessing a computer connected with preparation for a terrorist act. The jury in Australia's biggest terror trial was still unable to reach a verdict on charges against Shane Kent, 31, of Meadow Heights. Six people were yesterday found guilty of being part of the terrorist group, including its leader Abdul Nacer Benbrika. |
