| Aswat al-Iraq: Four children were killed when a landmine exploded near them in southwestern Kut city on Friday, a police source in Wassit province said. "A landmine left from previous wars during the former regime's time went off on Friday in the area of Zayn al-Qaws, southwestern Kut, killing four children," the source told Aswat al-Iraq. "The explosion, which was not the result of any acts of terror, occurred when the children tampered with the landmine," he added. |
