At the U.N., Many Hope for an Obama Win |
2008-10-27 |
There are no "Obama 2008" buttons, banners or T-shirts visible here at U.N. headquarters, but it might be difficult to find a sliver of territory in the United States more enthusiastic over the prospect of the Illinois senator winning the White House. Birds of a feather, etc. Wonder if Kojo's going to find a place in the new administration? |

#5 Barack Obama's Global Poverty Act would "re-distribute" 845 billion of our dollars (0.7% of our annual wealth) to the United Nations. The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations. No wonder they want him to be President. This would create a pipeline for graft and corruption directly from Washington to New York with no stops in between. |
