‘Brilliant as he is, Obama would not have got into Downing Street’

#16  Hey, Bama's definitely a first. He's the first president whose mother's bare ass has been shown to half the world over the internet. I haven't the slightest doubt he's going to show the world his ass as well. What a useless bastard the criminal segment of America has elected!

#15  People should not reduce him to the colour of his skin. “We would never do that with a white politician. We didnÂ’t reduce Bill Clinton to a good old boy from Arkansas.

Hey, Billy boy screwed it up all by himself. Had nothing to do with being a good old boy from Arkansas or being a white politician. Things might have been better if he had just been a good old boy from Arkansas.

#14  Hard times indeed. We should all buy MOABs and prepare for the ineviatable.

#13  Chance Gardner was brilliant too.

#12  I'm with AlanC on this - constant references to brilliance, no apparent basis for them. First time I heard of him, I met him a few hours later. Very unimpressive. Aloof, too. Clearly very uncomfortable talking about, well, almost anything serious. And in "his" area, constitutional law, if his 2001 radio interview is any indication, he's a friggin loon.

Not a first-rate intellect by any stretch, far as we can tell, and clearly an extremely unfit temperament/ethics package. America has truly beclowned itself this time. Not that it was offered much of a choice. But the conditions that allowed such a lightweight to become prez are alarming, fundamental, and have no obvious fix (media collapse, national hysteria/whining, level of ignorance about the world, the economy, and our system of govt.).

Grim times.

#11  It's OK, soon they'll have a Muslim PM.

#10  Not speaking of the Amish Nimble, believe me I'm not.

#9  Obama wouldn't have passed an FBI background check either.

#8  Soros and his Amish friends

I'm not sure you really understand the the Amish at all.

#7  The only smart thing about this guy so far is how well he has been groomed to be in politics and how calculated the move was. Obama himself, unless he proves otherwise, seems just smart enough to not blow the election.

#6  Still so angry I can't even type correctly. Soros and his Amish friends constructed a winning coalition. A charismatic figure, a downtrodden target audience, financial promises, evil Republican overlords, effective disinformation. The typical communist model. As they "anonymously" track Gov. Palin while claiming to be RNC insiders, look for more of the same.

#5  He only needed 15% ro 20% percent more. He already had 25% with the (96%) African American vote. Add to that the 20% that Bill Richardson gave to the nod to. ACORN probably managed to push in a few dead folks. Feckless single wimin made up the rest. You do the math.

#4  Well Jim, there is that, though I'm not sure how much brilliance that takes. Ruthlessness? In spades. Brilliance? Still not buying it.

#3  He conned half the country into voting for him, despite his radical leftist ideology, ties to terrorists, dubious birthplace, terrible energy and economic policies and his/his wife's, hatred of AmeriKKKa.

That seems fairly brilliant to me, in fact it's downright diabolical.

#2  Could someone, ANY one, now tell me just what the hell Zero has ever accomplished that demonstrates his brilliance?

#1  Is it just me, or does this fashion for Race-Based Politics make Personality Politics seem sophisticated. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint and Sonny Bono have had a more respectable mandates than Obama.
