| The government on Friday shifted former Lal Masjid cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz from a resthouse in Islamabad to his residence in Bahria Town. A Lal Masjid spokesman said the cleric's release was being negotiated with the administration since long and the administration had finally shifted him to his new house. Government sources said the government was considering releasing Abdul Aziz in a phased process, where in the first phase, he would be shifted to his Bahria Town house, and in the second, sent to Saudi Arabia. |
