#6 1942 – The Doolittle Raid on Japan. Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe and Nagoya bombed. Was at the Raiders' 67th reunion here in Columbia, SC today. Only 6 of the surviving Raiders could make it, but let me tell you - these guys are being treated like rock stars. One really nice touch is there's a B-1 here from the 34th BS at Ellsworth AFB. The 34th provided some of Doolittle's crews, and it is something to see the B-1 crew (whose AC BTW is female) talking to the Raiders and trading stories. Mike |

#5 I recall James Woods telling how he impressed the casting director by cutting off his hippie length hair to win a small part as Streisand's college Commie boyfriend in "The Way We Were". A lot of "actors" thought then that long hair was more important. Where are they now? Woods got the part and the rest is history. |

#4 >>>>James Woods - 62 "The Onion Field - Once Upon A Time In America " (Now) Woods' story about his encounter with some of the 9/11 hijackers has always been one that I've found fascinating. See here if you haven't heard it. |
