[Bangla Daily Star] A man was trampled to death by a herd of wild elephants at Hazachhara village in Barkal upazila early yesterday.The deceased was identified as Saiful Islam, 30, son of Md Barek of the village.
Police and locals said around eight elephants also destroyed two tin-shed houses and a banana plantation when they entered the village in search of food at about 2:00am.
