American aid should be unconditional: Musharraf
2009-04-20
The United States should not attach any conditions to the aid it is giving Pakistan to help it root out terrorism, former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf said on Sunday.
Sounds like a call for an open-ended boodle.
Talking to reporters before leaving for Saudi Arabia, Musharraf urged the nation, especially the media, to focus on the current challenges facing the country, Online reported.

Joint strategy: He said the armed forces and the government should jointly devise a strategy to fight terrorists in the country, adding that the Swat deal would be good for the country only if it brought peace and justice, but it could not be supported if it infringed the sovereignty of the state.
