| Huge explosions in Tamil Tiger zone followed by radio silence |

| The Army also said huge explosions were heard in the area where the LTTE leadership is hiding followed by thick black smoke seen rising up on the ground. They said after that LTTE radio communication went silent. Well, that could be it! Following the explosion, all radio communications among the LTTE units have come to a standstill, the reports added. |
