#9  Obama's Presidency could end in mere wee

Unlikely; he still has to apologize to 1 billion Indonesians and 2 billion Chinese.

#8  Obama's Presidency could end in mere weeks

Mr. Bunions/McZoid/etc: unlike your Canada, the US has a constitutional system that controls when elections are held. Short of impeachment, Obama will retain office until the winner of the next federal election is sworn in, either himself or a successor.

#7  Ouch! Forget to mention that there is an election in Lebanon on June 7. Public opinion everywhere in the Arab world is geared to hearing an Obama apology. That would drive steal into the backs of the hard-liners.

Reminder:
Black African slaves seized by Europeans:
11,000,000 (most survived)
Black African slaves seized by Arabs:
14,000,000 (few survived; construction workers often worked to death; sex slaves murdered if they were impregnated)

#6  Many Bedouins secretly support Israel because they know that if the Palesaurs had their way in Israel, they would move East. The Right to Return would include the right to stay in Jordan, where they are a slight majority, and could topple the monarchy, if Bedouins didn't control that country's armed forces.

Obama's Thursday speech in Cairo, could be a career killer. If he says anything to strengthen the Shiite position in Lebanon, he could hand Hizbollah a victory, and that means: Iranian bases in Lebanon and Sunni and Christian flight. Obama's Presidency could end in mere weeks if he champions rabble one-time-democracy/permanent-tyranny. On the positive side, Obama has been wishy-washy on a Middle East settlement policy; now he has to spell it out.

#4  Having enjoyed the pleasure of their company once, I can hardly see the Jordanians welcoming the Paleos back again.

#2  The kingdom of Jordan is the East Bank, Lumpy Elmoluck5091. Or did you mean to imply

Jordan + Israel = Palestinian state

If so, you might want to recall that's been tried... in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1972. and the ongoing Palestinian terror campaign punctuated by Intifada I & II and the Gaza rocket campaign.

#1  On the right track but how about the East Bank and Jordan?
