| #13 Bought "Gran Torino" on DVD today. If that flick doesn't move you, nothing will - I highly recommend it. The willing sacrifice for those you first knee-jerk-hated is a message some on the Burg could learn, I hope. On the other hand - some of those you knee-jerk-hated are shown as being deserved of that designation. Isn't that life? |

| #6 I never heard of Megan Fox until now. In checking, I found that she was born in Rockwood, TN; a small community (maybe a couple of thousand people I'm guessing) just off I-40 west of Knoxville about 30 or so miles. The town is small and lies on Rt. 70 (of "Thunderoad" fame) which was the main road before the interstate. Once I-40 was built much of the business and industry in Rockwood dried up. There is no bus service in Rockwood and so no tokens are necessary. The community is probably better off with her leaving for Hollywood. People there are pretty decent people. |
