#4 my kids (earliest born '85) were like "who is this guy?" Until the concert started smoking. He did a lot of Led Zep tunes and they went: "ooooooohhhh". The fact we were 12th row tix on SD Bay (By the convention center) made it a great concert... really just enjoyed teh concert, plus showing my kids that old guys can kick ass. I missed his Allison Krause tour, but got the CD "Raising Sand"..it's good too. /Robert Plant's unpaid PR Manager |

#2 He said it was humbling to accept this award alongside selfless troops. Maybe it's a case of the 'stablishment recognising work well done, finally. I still recall 'The Immigrant Song' and 'Ramble On', 'Hangman' inspiring the troops back in '76/77, in the Honde Valley. (Having said that, I believe, as an aside, the gooks seemed to favour Deep Purple). And he won't 'give-it-back' either, which is a plus for everyone. These small things matter as the world goes tribal. |
