| Hostage released, kidnappers arrested in Diala |

| Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces on Monday freed a hostage and captured his kidnappers in Diala province, according to a local security source. "On Monday, police personnel released a taxi driver and arrested his two kidnappers at a security checkpoint in al-Muqdadiya district (45 km northeast of Baaquba)," the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. "An investigation is currently underway," the source noted. |
