[Kyodo: Korea] U.S. policy toward North Korea remains unchanged since former President Bill Clinton"s trip to Pyongyang that resulted in the release of two jailed U.S. journalists, the White House said Thursday. Speaking at a news briefing, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Pyongyang needs to abandon its nuclear weapons programs if it wants to forge a new relationship with the international community. |
