#2 The NKor govt was probably grandstanding the whole time. Either that, or they figured they'd better not send the women to a real camp because too much attention was already focused on the situation. Can't have released hostages report on REAL gulags. |

#1 Lisa said that Laura is "a little bit weak" and that "she's really, really anxious to have fresh fruit and fresh food." Funny, I feel the same way when coming home to America from China. Lisa said that after their trial the two women were sent to a guest house rather than to a labor camp Oh, that must have been rough! A luxury villa instead of a North Korean prison camp! I'm sure her lucrative speaking engagements will be riveting. |
