#4 It was rejected because a single Senator from a party called Family First has come out and said AGW isn't real, presented evidence and asked the AGWers to refute it, which of course they couldn't/didn't. All it takes is one person with guts to stand up in front of the crowd and publicly and forcefully with facts refute the "common" wisdom. Let the rest of us take up that banner too. |

#2 It was rejected because a single Senator from a party called Family First has come out and said AGW isn't real, presented evidence and asked the AGWers to refute it, which of course they couldn't/didn't. Family First polls less than 2% and has a single senator (seats are allocated on a PR basis) Which leads to a very interesting dynamic. For the first time in the next Australian election voters in any country will have a clearly anti-AGW party to vote for. It will be interesting to see how well they do. But I for one will definitely vote for them. A party I would have never voted for in the past. |
