| #5 It's the edge of the continental plate, and also a part of the "Ring of Fire" qukes are numerous and usualy severe. Shoddy buildings play a major part in th fatakities there. Sad, but really Normal for the area. |

| #4 These are just some "adjustments" following the major shift from the Christmas, 2005, plate movement. Doesn't surprise me at all. Saddens me, but doesn't surprise me. Expect more, plus additional volcanic eruptions, over the next 8-15 years. There have been a total of 62 earthquakes around the site of the major ones earlier in the week. I'm beginning to wonder if there's something else brewing, such as a major volcanic eruption. |
