Israel intercepts plane overflying nuclear reactor |

![]() The warplanes intercepted the aircraft and forced it to land at a nearby airstrip, where the two pilots were handed over to civilian authorities for investigation, an army spokeswoman said. Police had no immediate comment but Israeli media reported that the two men, from central Israel, claimed to have lost their way. Aircraft are forbidden from flying over the reactor near the desert town of Dimona. |

#6 Yup sounds like a test of response, bet they expected to just fly away. I'd personaly consficate their plane and hand out lengthy prison terms, then when repeated, shoot them down. |

#5 Why? There's no reason to try to fly over Dimona unless you're trying to do mischief. The photos are readily available on Google Earth. |
