| #8 As said previously, the elephant in the living room is the FBI and CIA who were most certainly watching Hasan and his communications, donations, etc. Source Operations are a delicate affair. Almost anything can go wrong...and did. |

| #4 Someone is following the money. Good. We mentioned this in comments the other day. A military doctor has an income, after counting base pay, professional incentive pay, allowances, etc in the low $100K range. All fair and the docs are worth every penny. Hasan is a major and a psychiatrist. He's living in a $350 a month apartment near Fort Hood. He can't eat but so much. He drives a beater of a car. So where's his money going? My bet is that he's been making substantial contributions to the Widows Ammunition Fund. Follow the money. |
