| Police release sketch of Rawalpindi bomber |

| [Dawn] The Islamabad Capital Territory Police has released a sketch of the teenage suicide bomber who blew himself at the entrance of the Naval Complex on Wednesday, DawnNews reported. A senior police official told DawnNews in Islamabad that the sketch had been prepared with the help of eyewitnesses, who later confirmed that it closely resembled the actual attacker. The Police official said the boy was between 14 and 17 years of age and belonged to Gilgit-Baltistan. He added that he was not familiar with Urdu. The official also said that the young suicide bomber was seemingly forced to carry out the attack. He further said that the bomber spent about forty-five minutes near the Naval Complex entrance before finally deciding to blow himself up. Police have urged the family of the teenage suicide bomber to contact authorities in Islamabad on Rescue 15 emergency numbers. They have also announced a reward of 2.5 million rupee for anyone who can provide information about the suicide bomber. Authorities added the informer's identity will be kept secret. |
