| Chicago lawyer to head largest US Muslim group |

 Islamic Society of North America has picked a lawyer and educator from Chicago as its new secretary-general. Safaa Zarzour will be the top executive of the Plainfield-based organization, which is the country's largest Muslim group. ISNA president Ingrid Mattson says Zarzour's commitment to the formation of responsible and engaged American Muslim youth will help the organization. However he declined to say exactly what the youth would be engaged in, and what they would be responsible for. |

For the next three years at the law firm, Mr. Zarzour served as the prosecutor of several local municipalities and represented municipal clients in numerous civil law suits, labor hearings, negotiations, and arbitrations." Now if the Methodist, Baptist, or Catholic churches chose a Prosecutor to lead a "religious" organization... Religion of peace my @ss. This is the militant, at least on the "we will sue you" arm of Islam, "the religion of peace". |
