| Artillery attack targets AU peacekeepers in Mogadishu |

| [Iran Press TV Latest] At least three people have been killed in an artillery attack on the Somali capital Mogadishu. Anti-government fighters were targeting the Kuliyada base, where Burundian peacekeeping troops of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) are based, the Press TV correspondent in Mogadishu reported. Several artillery shells landed in the Hodon district of south Mogadishu, killing at least three people and destroying one house, eyewitnesses said. It has also been reported that eight people were injured near the Taleh area. |
