[The News (Pak) Top Stories] Unidentified people shot dead two tribal elders in the Pandyalai subdivision of Mohmand Agency on Sunday, tribal sources said.Also, security forces dynamited the houses of two local commanders of militants during a search operation in Safi Tehsil.Tribal sources said the slain elders were identified as Malik Adam and Malik Mukhtiar of Safi Tehsil. "The unidentified people killed Malik Adam when he resisted a bid to kidnap him from his Hujra," the sources added.
In another incident, unidentified armed men kidnapped Malik Mukhtiar and shot him dead. Later, his body was found in the Shah Alam Pul area near Peshawar. Meanwhile, security forces destroyed the houses of two militant commanders, identified as Zahir Khan alias Balla and Said Umar alias Zarqawi, in the Aaye Kor area during the operation.
