Taliban warn against operation in North Waziristan |

[Dawn] The Taliban of North Waziristan have issued a warning on Sunday, which states that they will launch a large scale war if the military launched an operation in the agency. This announcement was stated in a pamphlet issued by the Taliban in Miramshah. According to the pamphlet, the Taliban claim that the government has violated an agreement by spying on them and sending troops to Janikhle and Baqakhel. It further adds that the government of Afghan President Hamid Karzai will be approached to give shelter to people migrating from North Waziristan in case the military launches an operation. |
