| #2 Even wierder... Judge Alarcon (Carter) was one of the ones who would throw out the sentence as too light, Judge Fernandez (Reagan) upheld the sentence. The other judge was Clifton (Bush 43) who agreed with Alarcon. |

| #1 Well, maybe they rousted themselves from their self induced stupor and found their Workers Paradise(tm) of Californistan was crumbling around them and thought it was time to end the prank and get back to real work. Then again it might have been a random gamma ray passing though the brain of judge number two. I'll go with the second analysis. Once is a miracle. Twice is magic. Three times is principle. |
