[Dawn] The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan claimed on Sunday responsibility for Thursday's twin attacks at the Police Lines in Bannu which killed 16 people, including a district police officer, and injured 22 others.Qari Hussain, a top leader of TTP, told this correspondent on phone that the suicide attacks in Bannu had been organised by his organisation.
"The attacks were carried out to avenge the military operation in Bajaur," he said.
