When It Comes To Hate-Speech And Violence, Liberals Rule
2010-04-01
For some strange reason liberals are identifying all contrary opinions as hateful regardless of the words actually used. I'm always surprised when I hear from my Democrat sister in California that she thinks I should tone down the anger in my columns. I've reread my pieces and see only the explanations of my viewpoint. I do not name-call or use derogatory language yet she reacts as if I do. Is it possible to erroneously read emotions that simply aren't there if the reader is expecting them to be?

I found this same phenomenon when I received an e-mail from a New York literary agent commenting that he found my book proposal "a manifesto of innuendo, belief and hate for those you do not agree with." He then added, "There is the Rush way and then there is the George Will way."

After searching in vain for evidence of hate speech in my book proposal, I came to realize that the agent was projecting his own disdain for the "right wing" and assuming that I was therefore a Rush Limbaugh devotee.

#7  t is kindergarten class in their 50's

exactly. ever notice the language? used to be that Americans 'raised a family' then about 50 years ago, the progressives started the nomenclature of 'raising kids' or 'raising children'

well, us conservatives have families that we raised, while the left has nothing but kids and children. grown children passing the buck to someone else to 'raise their kids'.

sad

#6  Honestly, I'm way past the point of thinking of demonrats and their ilk as having the title of humans. They have the potential to be, but CHOOSE not to be.

Here's why:

1. They practically worship child-sacrifice and child rape, with their pushing for abortion and support of pedophiles and rapists of all stripes. While I don't think abortions should be outlawed, it should only be for a better reason than birth control.

2. They turn people into sheep. Their revulsion at human beings having the right and need to defend themselves, so that they can deny us what they happily grant to animals is another step outside of humanity. If a bear can defend himself, why can't I?

3. Intolerance - There is no point of view but their own, anything else is EVIL. Despite the fact I can't stand Sting, liberals desire for conformity always remind me of the Police's lyrics "Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes" That is what they seek for us to be, lemmings, following the 'herd'.

4. Justice - Humans have a moral code. They may not always be nice ones, but typically they have one. They fail to realize that HUMAN civilization stems not from our need to group together like sheep but from a shared moral philosophy. The society has laws, if you break them, you should be punished. Laws should have meaning and actually have value for the society. To them, laws mean nothing more than a way to punish and marginalize their enemies. They care nothing for actual justice, that murderers and rapists aren't free to prey on others. They also believe that locking people up so they can have free healthcare and cable TV at taxpayer expense is punishment. Punishment is much more than that.

5. "Diversity" I hate that word. To me, it means nothing but division. They parcel us into tiny groups, some to be reviled, others to be glorified. There's only three groups I'll willingly belong to: Human beings, Americans, and resident of the Great State of Tennessee. Anything more than that should be of my own choosing and shouldn't matter to anyone not directly involved in it.

These to me are some of the major things, but "Liberals" and "Democrats" in the modern senses of the words have happily shed their humanity, thrown it out and all that goes with it. They glorify their inhumanity and not only flaunt it in our faces but demand we approve of it. So no, I don't consider them human anymore. They are people, but not human. And the last vestiges of hope that they will change their ways have long since vanished from my heart and now I consider them nothing but a danger to myself and my family, as well as my nation. To consider them anything less would be the height of folly.

/Rant off.

#5  "They are not born liberals Keeney, they find it later in their poor tortured life."

I agree, they're not born that way, our present culture makes them that way (mostly the schools and media).

#4  Here is the thing though.
We call them liberals, yet they are anything but. They are now fascist meddlesome know-it-alls with intent on letting government run everything in everyones lives and damn the consequence.

It is kindergarten class in their 50's who truely believe everyone is as stupid as themselves and needs a daddy wether we want one or not.

They are democrats. In other words, INFANTS.

I watched these fools for 8 years of Bush acting worse than anything we could concieve of compared to the "tea baggers".

Our society has deteriorated so thoroughly that we literally are living in animal farm.

To have a majority of Americans vote for Juan Peron is a very telling sign.

#2  The rank and file liberals suffer, in my opinion, from an irrational view of the world around them spurred by blind idealism. They see the world in terms of what they think "should" or "should not" be, and completely overlook (or refuse to see) circumstances as dictated by reality. Indoctrination in the politically correct government school culture has firmly embedded the notion that idealism is more noble and relevant than pragmatism. It then becomes natural to reject anything that does not fit their paradigm of the “should”. When confronted with rational arguments that they lack the faculty to counter liberals lash out instinctively.
I speak, of course, of the rank and file liberal; those at the head of the snake know full well the reality and effect of their actions and policies. Becoming the victim is straight out of their playbook.
