| BASRA / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested 10 wanted men and two suspects on Sunday, and seized 50 mortars in operations throughout Basra province. “Only one of the 12 arrested men is wanted for terror cases,' a local police source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. He noted that the 50 mortars were seized 20 km south of Basra city. |

| #2 50 mortars sounds like a bulk shipment from Iran. 50Ks south of Basra would locate the find at the tip of the Faw peninsula and a 5 minute boat ride from Iran. |
