| #3 They'd be better off giving it to one of our allies, instead. I'm afraid the current regime is more likely to turn these individuals over to the crazed mullahs than to do anything about it. And yes, I'm deeply ashamed to write that last sentence and even more ashamed to believe that it is true. |

| #1 And the US never acts on it. In fact we defunded one of the better tools we had in terms of getting information and organization to the indigenous opposition in Iraq, as well as defunded efforts to help the students and others, and defunded the organization that was holding the Iraniann government accountable for human rights violations. Obama is an ass, just like Jimmy Carter. He is throwing away opportunities to act in a good indirect fashion, and throwing away allies and supporters of freedom in the name of "Diplomacy". |
