Boy howdy that's a lot of terrorists. Wonder where they all came from? And why 99% of them are still in the field?
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Friday told the Senate that around 1,800 suspected terrorists had been arrested from different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on various charges during military operations, while 12 teams were investigating charges against them. On a point of order in the Upper House, Malik said investigation teams were interrogating the detainees and would deal with them according to the law. He said those found innocent would be released, while those guilty would be handed over to local elders on a condition that they will not repeat their crimes. He added that those found guilty of serious crimes would be punished under the law. |
