| Afghan refugee beheaded for 'spying' |

| Unidentified militants beheaded a 60-year-old Afghan refugee for "spying" for the US military based in neighbouring Afghanistan, in Datta Khel tehsil of North Waziristan Agency. The beheaded body, identified as Wadeen, was found in village Darpa Khel, some five kilometres west of Miranshah, headquarters of the tribal agency. The body was lying on the Datta Khel-Miranshah Road. A paper close to the body alleged that Wadeen was spying for the US and anyone doing the same would meet the same fate. |
