[Maghrebia] An elderly Algerian man missing since May 26th was found decapitated on Friday, Liberte reported Sunday (June 6th). Terrorists abducted Driss Magherbi, 70, near Sidi Bel-Abbes. The victim was a former member of Algeria's government-sanctioned rural militia, the Legitimate Defence Group (GLD), and former president of the Sidi Ali Benyoub municipal council (APC).
In other news, a roadside bomb explosion early Sunday morning killed two communal guards at Ait Felker, some 50km east of Bejaia. |
